By accessing or using RateProjects, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

RateProjects is a platform where users can submit projects, vote on projects in head-to-head comparisons, and view rankings based on ELO scores.

3. User Accounts

To submit projects, you must sign in with a GitHub account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.

4. User Content

By submitting a project, you represent that:

• You have the right to submit the project
• The project does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• The project is not malicious, fraudulent, or deceptive

We reserve the right to remove any project that violates these terms or that we deem inappropriate.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Manipulate votes or rankings through automated means or multiple accounts
• Submit spam, malware, or inappropriate content
• Harass other users
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Use the service for any illegal purpose

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the projects you submit. By submitting, you grant us a license to display your project information (title, tagline, URL, screenshot) on the platform.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of rankings or the availability of the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
